Cherry on top...

week 10, last week of school.  I completed my webpage today and decided to add a slide about firefighters in action.  Now i'll start my final...  not sure what i'm going to do yet.  This class has been very informative for me and i have really enjoyed working with a mac.  I think my next computer will be a mac!

makin' webpages again...

I created a webpage that is a virtual field trip to a fire department.  I found it to be very cool to put my own spin on a website that is simple and still entertaining.  i don't think it should be published or anything, but i do like the idea.  I'll finish it next week.

We're Makin' webpages!

Well today, we learned how to make a webpage using both Dreamweaver and kafafa.com.  I enjoyed Dreamweaver better because I remember taking a technology class back in the day where we learned about html code.  with dreamweaver i could look at both the code and the page.  i enjoyed it and am excited for when i can create my actual page.

Today we did some interesting classroom techniques with Ipads....

I was surprised with what you can do with Ipads in the classroom.  I think a music class using the Garageband app would be quite entertaining.  I also think that the photobooth app would be a lot of fun for my students to play with.

Posting from week 1

I learned that Web 2.0 was basically the beginning of the internet.  I didn't know that.  Apparently everything went downhill from here...

My amazing Podcast

So on this week, I created a completely ridiculous podcast that was essentially nothing but gibberish to make people laugh.  I had success with putting my voice with music and pictures.  Garage band was an interesting program and I enjoyed using it.  I may do this again as a teacher.

Hoaxes

So here's the deal.  I was issued the website... Museum of Hoaxes...  which in turn was a hoax.  I found out that what i used to think about .org websites was wrong.  I used to think that they were looked over and were totally ok for students to look at in school.  thank God for the blocker thing that schools have now.
